Beautiful sleek set of 2 very rare and elegant mw7/130 floorlamps by Peter Ghyczy. Only made in very small numbers. Designed in 1983, The Netherlands In 1971, Ghyczy founded his own design studio in Amsterdam, Netherlands, where he incorporated furniture and functional objects in a minimalist, uncluttered style. He is best known for designing the famous Garden Egg chair in 1968, which revolutionized the design world. The floorlights would fit in een classic home, in hollywood regency style or or modern or eclectic home as well. They dont ask a lot of attention, but attract the viewers eye by their silent stance. Peter Ghyczy is very known for his beautifully designed tables, that are all in glass and brass, with a clamp-way of holding the glass by its bronze blocks.
