Decorative amber glass ball lantern with brass fittings

Stunning vintage french large amber glass ball lantern ceiling light with brass fittings. The large ball shade is in amber coloured glass with a diamond pattern. The ball shade is held in position with a brass and metal decorative finial to the bottom and a round shade and bulb holder to the top with a single bulb holder. There is a large hanging hoop to at the top and the light hangs from a 3 link chain, bar and grooved design ceiling fitting. The light is working with french twin core wiring and takes 1 large bayonet bulb. The brass has a lovely aged patina with some marks and pitting and the glass is complete with no chips or cracks.
