It is overlooked by a magnificent pediment decorated with shell and acanthus leaves, typical of the napoleonic style. The bottom is also adorned with a shell. The frame is decorated with roses and the outline of the ice is serrated. The sculpture work is exceptional and in excellent condition. The frame has undergone some repairs over time, but apart from a few shortcomings that attest to its authenticity, it is in a magnificent condition! The ice, with silver nitrate, is beveled on its 8 sides. Only a few small bites add charm, otherwise, its condition is perfect! The parquet flooring, on the back, is original. It is stamped with a stamp "lb&f paris" whose origin we have unfortunately not been able to identify... If you have any information to share with us, we would be delighted!
