Norwegian candleholder set of three by Saulo- Sulitjelma 1970s

Stylish and decorative Norwegian brass and stone candleholder set with three different size candlelights on a stone dish. Underneath a blue padded fabric base labelled with: made in Norway by Saulo AS in Sulitjelma, Norway. A Norwegian product from the 1970`s with beautiful polished stone and brass on top and bottom. Measures lights: 9 x 12 x 15 cmH all 5 cmD. Stoneplate: 15 cmD x 4 cmH. Good vintage condition. The stone consists of old copper and contains iron, copper and zinc bound in sulfur cistern, in addition traces of gold, silver and minerals. Beautiful patterns in the stone. A piece of Norwegian design and industrial history from the mining community Fauske about 100 km north of the Arctic Circle.
