1950s “Tone Ladder” Coat rack by Coen de Vries for Pilastro, Netherlands

A wonderful “tone ladder” coat rack designed by coen de vries, manufactured by pilastro in the netherlands around 1950. This nice, minimalist piece has s a black lacquered metal frame with a metal hat shelf and metal hooks in different colours. This gives the piece a colourful touch with a nice sense of elegance. It has a it can seamlessly fit in many different room and decors and is definitely an iconic piece of mid-century dutch design! It remains in good original condition, with some wear consistent with age and use, preserving a nice patina. It has some wear to the hat shelf, as shown in photos.
