Alabaster lamp depicting an artichoke, 1940s-1950s

Vintage blue alabaster lamp from the 1940s-1950s, artichoke. Very beautiful line for this pretty plant: flower for some, artichoke for me. The alabaster has pretty blue hues with beautiful visible gray veins, unfortunately one of the top petals is damaged (see photo) but this does not detract from the splendor of this beautiful and rare vintage object. Be careful, this lamp is very, very heavy. Height: 32 cm. Width and depth: 14 cm.
