Beautifull brutalist coffee table designed and made by the legendary belgian design company pia manu. Pia manu is a workshop from ingelmunster, belgium where jules dewaele, and later his son koen dewaele worked during the 1960s until now, working with natural stone and ceramics. Their tables are rare and sought after. This specific table is made out of a carved sandstone top with a patinated metal base. The shape has a futuristic look to it and was ahead of its time as well as all other known designs by pia manu. This table is a one of kind piece specially made for the client back in the 1970s.
