Armchair by Estelle and Erwin Lavergne for Formes Nouvelles 1957

Rare "champagne" dining room chair Estelle and Erwin Laverne 1957 for new forms. Made of green molded plexiglass on a polished aluminum base, with a white leather cushion, the chair swivels comfortably. Inspired by Saarinen's "tulip" chair, the champagne is part of Laverne's "invisible group". The slender pedestal base and transparent shell give the design visual lightness and timeless sophistication. Very good state.
