Ancient painting, view of Montmartre, by Pierre Lemoine (1920- 2006)

Very beautiful and elegant painting, oil on canvas, representing the rue chevalier de la barre in the montmartre district of paris. Very beautiful execution of pierre lemoine (1920-2006) who was painter, watercolorist, then inspector general of museums of france and curator of heritage. The painting is signed at the bottom right and has a carved wooden frame with a clear and imperfect patina typical of the frames called montparnasse. There is a very small gap very easily repairable (see photos), and that does not take away the charm of the painting. Table for lovers of paris and typical paintings of the 1940s/1960s.
