Sculptural shelf designed in the 1970s by architect and designer Valérie Doubroucinskis from the Parisian agency Service Architecture SNIP, for the layout of boutiques of the French house Rodier. Specializing in high-end knitwear, Rodier wanted to showcase its collections in spaces with a sober and refined aesthetic. Valérie Doubroucinskis then envisioned a modular furniture piece made of fiberglass, available in white or red, consisting of five or six stacked shelves. With its slender silhouette and geometric lines, this shelf evokes a contemporary totem, straddling the line between functional furniture and sculpture. Originally intended for displaying folded clothing, it now naturally finds its place in an interior, a library, or a gallery, to hold books, collectibles, shoes, or accessories.
