Buffet two bodies richly carved – Henri II style in walnut. Important two-body buffet made of solid wood, in the Henri II style, featuring rich carved ornamentation. The upper part opens with three doors, including a central glazed door with small panes, framed by turned columns. The side doors are adorned with finely carved panels of relief floral motifs. The whole is topped with a moulded cornice embellished with sculpted motifs and two small fire pots. The middle part forms a credenza with an openwork gallery and serving tray, resting on elegantly turned columns. The lower part consists of two belt drawers with bronze handles, surmounting two doors with richly moulded and sculpted panels decorated with cartouches and Renaissance motifs. Very high quality of execution, with a structured and balanced decor, typical of productions inspired by the French Renaissance. Period: late 19th – early 20th century.
