This colorful wooden dog is a vintage toy from the 1960s, produced by Die Drechselstube in Erbach in the Odenwald (Germany), a turning workshop established in 1660. Condition of wear, many missing paints on the wheels and the top (see photos). The tail is missing. More of a decorative object than a useful one, the pull-back mechanism is not functional.
