Gorgeous handmade rug from south romania, farytale scenery with two ladies with white dogs and floral frame decor, amazing colors, made by hand from wool and cotton, tinted using traditional methods. It was never used, kept in the dowery, in good conditions, just the touch of the time. Large size, it is a true statement rug! I grown up with this: every winter, at my grandmother' s house, women from the village, neighbors and relatives, spend the evenings and those long winter nights together, working on beautiful wool carpets or other handmade items.
