Holm Sorensen brass wall lamp, 1960s

Larisa burnt brass wall sconce by holm sorensen, made in denmark in the 1960s. A true reappropriation of the brutalist style, it consists of an assembly of tapered blades with irregular edges, evoking stylized leaves or flames frozen in the metal. The textured treatment of the brass is combined with a burnt finish with golden and burnished nuances. Functional and in good condition, this sconce projects dynamic shadows on the wall on which it is installed.
