Extremely rare, original poster for the 1968 Paris fair, which adds to its intrinsic value. This poster announces the 1968 edition of the Paris Fair, a salon-type fair organized each year in Paris. The fair has taken place since 1904 and since 1923 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in Paris. The fair always takes place towards the end of April and lasts a little over a week. These types of fairs originated from colonial exhibitions and world fairs during which an empire (like France) could demonstrate their colonial exploits and resources to the world.
