Extremely rare, original poster for the 1968 Paris Fair, which adds to its intrinsic value. This poster advertises the 1968 edition of the Paris Fair, a trade show held annually in Paris. The fair has been held since 1904 and since 1923 at the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles in Paris. The fair always takes place towards the end of April and lasts a little over a week. These types of fairs originated from colonial exhibitions and world's fairs during which an empire (like France) could demonstrate its colonial achievements and resources to the world.
