16th century square carved wooden ornament

Beautiful antique carved wooden wall cabochon in good condition. High period square rosette, architectural element intended to adorn ceilings. This wall ornament represents a flower, the well-carved petals or acanthus leaves surround an imposing central pistil. It is beautiful to look at alone or to install on a wall as an architectural element allowing to join 2 pieces of fabric for example... The wood is healthy, no insects present.
