Mid-century Cesca chair in rattan, Marcel Breuer, Italy, 1960s

Beautiful rattan, velvet, and mid-century wooden armchair. The wonderful and famous Cesca chair designed in the 1920s by Marcel Breuer. This piece by Simon Gavina comes from Italy in the 1960s. The armchair is beautifully preserved with a lovely patina (gold/straw colour) and a black lacquered beech frame on a chrome metal structure. The chair, despite its age, is fully functional. Cesca makes an excellent vintage decoration that fits absolutely any interior. The rattan is refreshed and in perfect condition.
