Poster Jean Couty Maison de la Culture de Bourges 1971

Description
We can see in this “taste for the great” a reminiscence of his architectural training with tony garnier, the famous lyon architect. A training which perhaps also influenced jean couty's way of drawing, very constructed, very structured, from which a "solid" painting is born, anchored in reality. No wonder he was nicknamed the “painter builder”. Jean couty belongs to the impressionist figurative movement. He reproduced what he saw: scenes of peasant life, poverty, landscapes, construction sites... Poster in good condition, traces of use and some folds at right angles dimensions 54 cm X 78 cm.
