Rattan table - rattan desk

This rattan table has an absolutely captivating old-fashioned riviera-style look that immediately convinced me. Its previous owner stripped it, while leaving some traces of its successive layers of paint, which gives it incredible charm. This table has a woven rattan top perched on a bamboo base. Old, it has traces of its age and its experience. Base with marks of time, peeling paint all over, under warped wooden top with peeling cream paint. Note that paint chips must have lodged between the rattan top and the wooden under-top, and so when you move it the pieces also move. Once in place, this table remains absolutely silent. Insect holes are present. Appropriate treatment was carried out. Beautifully simple, this table has an artistic charm. As a dressing table or arty-inspired desk, this little table will gently attract the eye.
