Thonet office bistro chair N°344 circa 1905

Large chair that is obviously intended to be used in front of a desk. If this chair has the dimensions of an office chair, it has the advantage of being able to "store" under the desk without being prevented by the armrests. Note the unique decoration of seven vertical bars in piano black spindle aligned in the backrest. Thonet October 1904, n°334 – stamp and label (2) The foot support bow is an option in the Thonet catalogue, as well as the metal reinforcements between the seat and the rear feet. The entire seat, although obviously in beech, is in its "oak style" aspect still an option specific to Thonet.
