Wendelin Stahl 655-20 Red Brown Vase with Zig Zag Motif, German Studio Pottery with Red Triangles

A rare studio pottery vase by german artist wendelin stahl (1922-2000), featuring a tactile zig zag motif with red triangles. The points of the downward facing triangles show the drip of the high gloss glaze. The vase is made from red clay and is signed on the bottom by the artist: 655/20 stahl. Height: 13.5 cm. Diameter of the base: 7 cm. Diameter of the mouth: 11.2 cm. Weight: ca. 640 grams. The vase has some minor scratching on the rim (see photos), but is overall in great vintage condition.
