This teak console was manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. The piece represents the characteristic qualities of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design, combining a clean, elegant form with high functionality. The console is crafted from teak wood and features four practical drawers arranged in two rows. Distinctive details include the subtly sculpted wooden handles, harmoniously integrated into the drawer fronts. The lightweight construction is supported by slender legs fitted with brass castors, allowing the piece to be moved easily. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the piece can be used as a side table, or small mobile storage unit. The warm tones of the teak combined with the brass details give it an elegant character. The piece has undergone comprehensive woodworking restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating and finished with high-quality Danish oil, which protects the surface while enhancing the natural colour and grain of the teak.
