Beautiful coffee table made of solid teak, designed by Holger Georg Jensen and manufactured by Kubus in Denmark around 1960. This model embodies the qualities of mid-century Danish design in its purest form: clear proportions, thoughtful functionality, and craftsmanship of the highest level. The raised edges of the top, with gently rounded corners, are particularly characteristic – a fine and demanding detail that elegantly frames the surface and showcases exceptional cabinet-making skills. Beneath the top is a magazine rack made of slats, providing additional storage for magazines and books while giving the table a light and airy appearance. The warm teak with its lively grain highlights this timeless formal language. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the table is perfectly suited as a coffee table or side table. The table has been fully restored, with the teak carefully refurbished and all joints checked. It is stable and ready for use. It bears a manufacturer's sticker underneath the top. Condition: superb vintage condition – fully restored, with only a few minimal signs of use due to age. A beautiful example of Danish craftsmanship for an elegant living room. Dimensions: approximately 72.5 × 52.5 × 51.5 cm (width × depth × height).
