Authentic old stoneware oil or wine jar, from an old provincial craft (around the end of 1900), it is partially glazed, with its 2 very solid handles and a neck designed to receive a stopper. It was made by hand then on a potter's wheel. Partially glazed, the color varies from beige to terracotta. A superb old watertight jug that will suit a country house, but also in a refined universe looking for authenticity. Overall, it is in very good condition, we like its imperfections in the clay and the glaze because they add an authentic rustic charm and make it unique. The handles are solid and the neck is in good condition, I just note a small superficial chip. Dimensions 23.cm height, 18 cm diameter in its most rounded part.
