Brown glazed stoneware pitcher by Jacky Coville, Biot, signed.

Small round pitcher in speckled brown glazed stoneware by Jacky Coville, with a neck and handle in cream glaze veiled with blue. The unglazed foot reveals the brown stoneware and bears the incised signature "Coville." The pitcher comes from the collection of Denis Goudenhooft (1948-2024), himself a ceramist, gallery owner, and author of a reference work on stoneware potters from 1941 to 1985. It is in very good condition, with slight signs of use.
