70s earthenware tile trivet

Charming trivet straight out of the 70s with its flower decoration and yellow and brown colors typical of that era. It is a ceramic tile set in a wooden frame. On the back of the tile we can read various information and in particular that this object, or at least the ceramic tile, is made in spain, by the zirconio company. The whole is in good general condition, solid frame, clearly visible pattern with very bright colors, but does not hide its age and signs of use: various marks on the wood, notably burns, a small loss on the side of the tile but original because we see a run of enamel on the missing part. It was perhaps a way of "recycling" tiles with a small defect which were not usable for tiling a wall...rather than throwing them away as we would do today, clever if that. Is the case! On the tile, a few micro-scratches and small abrasions that are almost invisible (you can only see them by holding the tile at a certain angle in relation to the light and the eye). The trivet measures 21.2 cm on each side with a thickness of 1.1 cm.
