Here are 4 beech seats from the 70s that look like they just came from Scandinavia. Nay! We're going to have to stop believing that the Vikings invented design! They are neither German nor English, so American even though we could easily imagine them in a saloon in a Lucky Luke comic or in the Little House on the Prairie series... But indeed Alpine or more precisely Swiss therefore closer to the heidi mountain pastures: ) So invite all your friends, even your rugby player friends, because their design & manufacturing quality make them indestructible! I'll spare you the technical characteristics here, but there's no need to come out of a woodwork course to figure it out for yourself like a grown-up! Oh yes, I forgot, I didn't actually restore or upcycle them or customize them as they say - awful words! - but simply sanded them! Return to the raw material & the very essence of natural wood by getting rid of that damn old varnish - & what varnish my abrasive paper cakes have all gone through... Hand finish! Price indicated for a set of 2. Set of 4 obviously possible! Option: original dark brown skai pads available & removable which explain the presence of the holes for the fixing screws. Even the leatherette is not glued so it can also be changed. See last photos before/after sanding & with the pad on old version of the chair.
