Buffet s

Industrial-style solid oak buffet. 2 doors, 3 drawers, 1 niche. Furniture from the 1940s, from the period of reconstruction, very largely inspired by the furniture designed by rené gabriel. The style is clearly borrowed from the designer's buffet, even if instead of the 5 drawers a niche has been made, which makes the model original. Made of solid oak, the assembly of the drawers is made in dovetails. It was restored to continue its life, after travelling from normandy to the gard. The buffet was treated insect repellent for safety although very weakly attacked. The original 4 pine shelves are too damaged to be restored, so they have been changed. The two interior trays have been changed to ensure the solidity of the furniture. The two locks were also changed. The original tray is preserved after sanding and restoration. The drawer handles have been replaced by shell handles for more modernity. The back of the furniture, very damaged has been restored and painted in the same way. It is repainted with the painting of little greene®, intelligent mat, color lamp black. Matte paint with a voc level of less than 1g/litre and compliant with the toy safety directive. The buffet blends perfectly with a modern interior... Or not. Its large storage capacity is ideal in the kitchen as well as in the living room. It is an old piece of furniture that can show some traces of time that could not disappear, but which do not call into question its solidity or its appearance. But it is also what makes its charm inimitable.
