Pair of Vintage Scandinavian "Ladderback" Chairs (1960) - To Restore

Rare pair of mid-century Scandinavian chairs (circa 1960), characterised by their beautiful curved ladderback and clean lines. These chairs are sold as is, strictly "in their original condition". They represent an ideal project for restoration enthusiasts or cabinetmakers, offering exceptional potential to become statement pieces after renovation. Wood Structure: The joinery is solid, but the finish is worn. The tops of the backrest posts show discolouration and wear (notable patina, see photos). The rungs of the backrests show signs of aging. Legs: As documented, each of the four legs of each chair has scratches, marks, and wear to the wood. Straps: The suspension straps under the seats are original and functional.
