On a beanbag, we move and lounge, we collapse on our backs with our legs crossed, we turn around softly to stretch out on our stomachs… like a cat! No matter what position we adopt, it adapts to all our wishes. Its secret. Polystyrene balls that, when accumulated together, perfectly fit the shape of the body. The height of comfort! Did you know: many people don't know it, but the beanbag originally has a completely different name: the "sacco". The sacco beanbag, also called bean bag, was born in italy, from the idea of designers gatti, paolini and teodoro. In 1968, they presented themselves at the furniture manufacturer zanotta with a "sacco" and it went on to revolutionize the way we sit. It was presented to the public for the first time at the paris furniture fair in 1969; its success was immediate! Original, non-conformist, it disrupts the fixed and formal look of the interiors of the time. It offers a new way of living with a nomadic seat, low to the ground, ideal for lounging and giving in to the sound of the doors or jimmy hendrix. Thanks to its soft seat, without frame and not fond of conventions, the sacco does not impose a position but follows the movements of the body of which it takes the forms, it is the ideal comfort! Observations: good condition - this vintage, period item may show some wear or patina, such as light scratches, light oxidation and other signs of normal use. Please note: presence of a red oval-shaped patch of 14cm / 9cm. Materials: skaï / polystyrene color: chocolate / red height: 90cm diameter: 80cm.
