Haloprofil 8008 floor lamp by Viktor Frauenknecht for Swiss Lamps International 1970s

This floor lamp was designed by architect viktor frauenknecht for swiss lamps international. The company founded in 1967 specializes in the creation and manufacturing of high-end lighting. Using very high quality materials combined with various collaborations with architects and designers, the company was able to create a whole varied collection of lighting. This light is no longer produced. Its structure is entirely made of chrome-plated metal and rests on a cast iron base in which the variator rests. The body is made of a chrome-plated tubular steel rod. It is connected to the arm by a system of removable rings, allowing its rotation and height adjustment. The arm is removable and can move vertically and horizontally, the position is fixed using a counterweight at its end. The lampshade has a vertical opening directing the light beam in a localized manner. The publisher's label is present on the lampshade. In good condition, wear consistent with age and use.
