A classic of norwegian design - the "svanette" sofa designed by ilmar relling and haldor vik for the svane ekornes factory, produced in the 1960s. The mattress is made of well-preserved, original springs. A wooden extension can be used not only as a handy table or storage space, but also thanks to it you can easily transform the sofa into a fold-out couch by opening the extension and placing backrest cushions on it. The wooden side bed is made of teak, as well as most of the sofa's structure, and the frame at the back is made of beech wood. The seat and cushions were made anew from a foam spacer, I.e. A high-quality sponge with increased elasticity, and were trimmed with high-quality dark green upholstery material with a beautiful "braid" structure. The whole thing has been completely renovated, cleaned of old coatings, lightly stained to even out the color and protected with hard oil-wax resistant to dirt and water. In another auction, we also have a matching "langbenk" couch from the same set and a square corner table, which together create a beautiful relaxation area. A gem of norwegian design from the times of the polish people's republic. It looks great and immediately attracts attention.
