Platter and 11 dessert plates in Chapus Frères Limoges porcelain

Dessert service, including a cake plate and 11 dessert plates, in Limoges porcelain stamped Chapus Frères (cf) Limoges (factory active from 1928 to 1977). Vintage 1930s-40s. Decorated with a border of gilded stylized geometric and plant motifs, enhanced with a relief of gadroons; almond green, white and ivory background. No accidents except a chip on the back of a plate, gilding tired on the edges, gilding of the decoration intact, some small areas of discoloration in the green (see detail photos), no traces of use (scratches, rubbing). Dimensions: dish / diam. 25.5 cm (27 cm with the handles); plate / diam. 18 cm.
