Majestic corner cabinet dating from the 18th century, in solid oak and solid cherry. The patina is simply incredible and is particularly highlighted because the cabinet has been completely restored. These corner cabinets are always sought after because they are very practical. This one offers a main body (triangular in shape, therefore, to fit in a corner of a room) in solid oak, including its thick top. The knots, the traces of life in the wood are quite fascinating. We also notice the dowels at the junctions of the different elements. The door is in solid cherry, mounted on its single metal hinge, fixed through the right upright, in the old-fashioned way. It has worn a little over time and there is a tiny play at the top left when the door is closed. But it closes perfectly with a working lock and key (more recent but old). We note the very beautiful original keyhole I think, with its metal arabesques. The inside of the door reveals traces of the tools used to carve it. A little delight for the enthusiast. Inside, two wooden shelves provide a beautiful storage space. The back is made of solid planks. There are, of course, many signs of wear and tear, but these are more like patina than defects. It is in excellent overall condition, solid, stable, and immediately functional... And what a stunning contrast of wood species! H: 127 cm. W: 90 cm. Sides: 63 cm. One shelf: 65 X 45 X 45 cm. The price is firm, thank you. Delivery possible to your door in the Paris region for 40 euros.
