Solid wood side table with spiral base

This charming side table deserves a new lease on life, but in what form...that's up to you! Either use it as is, in a wabi-sabi style, or restore it...indeed, it has a few issues: I think this side table is made from two pieces of furniture combined: the base, on the one hand, is made of beautiful varnished wood, very intricately carved, with a lovely spiral column. And the tabletop, on the other hand, is simpler and less elaborate. The base is still solid, with no cracks or major problems, but it shows all the signs of its age: stains, small scratches, and various marks. The tabletop has some stains and discoloration that aren't too noticeable, but its curved wooden "rim" is warped in two places; it's separating from the tabletop, leaving two large gaps. To do it properly, you should remove some of the old nails holding everything together, shorten the curved slat, and nail it back in place. The tabletop seems securely attached to the base (I'm not sure how, as there are no visible nails), but it wobbles slightly. This side table is approximately 79 cm tall. The tabletop is 45 cm in diameter and about 2 cm thick (the apron is 2.5 cm wide and extends slightly beyond the top of the tabletop). The base is a triangle with sides approximately 40 cm. The table weighs approximately 4 kg.
