Red glazed ceramic vase - Aldo Londi for Bitossi - 1960s. Pretty deep red color, rarer than the emblematic blue that the artist used to work with. Very good general condition, some small defects notably in two corners of the base, which may have had a slight old restoration. Master ceramicist Aldo Londi (1911-2009) spent most of his long and distinguished career creating exceptional pieces for Italian ceramic manufacturer Bitossi Ceramiche. Dimensions: Height: 20cm.
