Longwy iron earth pedestal compotier, mignon model

Nice compotier pedestal earthenware longwy terre de fer, model "cute". Stamped and numbered hollow under the foot, it is late nineteenth / early twentieth. Delightful decoration of birds in shades of blue / gray on a slightly cream colored earthenware. In good general condition, there is a very small ginning on the edge and lower a larger ginning on the upper edge (see photos) The compotier however remains very clean and presentable. No crack, no spot, no sign of restoration. There are very slight traces of superficial knives in the hollow of the dish. A beautiful elegant piece. Height: 11 cm. Diameter: 22.5 cm. Weight: 0.6 kg.
