Modernist vase in white ceramic – Design by Jeroen Bechtold

Vintage vase from the 1980s with a pronounced postmodern / Memphis style. A perfect layer of the clean and architectural lines of the era. It was designed by the designer Jeroen Bechtold for the renowned Dutch manufacturer Flora Keramiek in Hardenberg (original label still present). Its cylindrical shape is enveloped in a unique asymmetrical movement with a pointed bevelled neck, and its satin white finish beautifully catches the light. Dimensions: Height: 28 cm. Max diameter: 11 cm. Neck diameter: 10.5 cm. Base diameter: 10 cm. In very good vintage condition. It shows slight natural crazing of the glaze in places (visible up close, see photos), which is quite normal and typical of this manufacturer for pieces from this era. No chips or cracks.
