Vintage thick glass ashtray

Authentic vintage ashtray from the 1970s made of thick, solid glass, featuring a beautiful forest green/bottle green hue. With a circular and minimalist shape, its design is reminiscent of the famous Omena creations (notably published by the Finnish house Nuutajärvi). It has a discreet tone-on-tone engraved inscription on its upper rim: "IEPER" (the Flemish name for the city of Ypres in Belgium), giving it a unique charm and a nostalgic or advertising character. Equipped with 3 notches, its modernist and Scandinavian line also allows it to be repurposed as a high-end catch-all or as a timeless decorative object on a coffee table, desk, or vintage sideboard.
