Wicker basket with handle

This adorable little wicker basket in several colors (straw color and different brown shades) will find many uses around the house: small knitting basket, storage for cosmetics in the bathroom... it will also be perfect in a child's bedroom as a little storage or to play shopkeeper! It is recently made (about 4 or 5 years old) but was made by a very talented traveling basket maker who comes to my house twice a year. Its baskets are very solid, with a handle (sometimes a weak point in certain baskets) very well “secured” and very solid (strands surrounding a strand of larger diameter) and a bottom reinforced by thicker strands. This basket will still be there in fifty years, that's for sure! It is very clean, it has been used very little (because I have so many that I can't use them all!). Some original "defects": some original "frayed" strands (it's apparently more complicated to make small baskets because you have to "twist" the strands more) and an asymmetrically installed handle. It measures 31 cm in length by 18 cm in width. At the edge, its height is approximately 14 cm and approximately 25 cm at the handle.
