Old tureen CREIL & MONTEREAU LM&Cie 1850 vine and purple flower decoration 19th century.

This sumptuous tureen is made of creil & montereau earthenware. This “flowers and vine” model dates from the 19th century. This service is signed by the brand "creil et montereau - lm & cie - fv" for the earthenware factory run by lebeuf and milliet between 1840 and 1875. Round in shape, this magnificent tureen is decorated with a delightful purple decoration: leaves of vines unfold in arabesques on the border - flowers are represented in a frieze. The superb handles and grips are in the shape of coiled rods in relief. This tureen is in very good condition - it measures 40 cm in diameter X 34 cm in height approximately. I note scratches from use and stains under the cover inside.
