Jacques Boullaire (1893-1976) Illustrator of many works in the 1930s to 1950s, he was appointed official painter of the Navy in 1959. Ink and ink wash on paper. Signed. "p.20: if I affect to be a little crazy" Drawing which was used to illustrate the novel "Charlotte and Maximilien, the chimerical lovers", by Princess Bibesco, published for the first time under the pseudonym of Lucile Decaux in 1937.
