Vintage green teapot with lotus decoration and bamboo handle.

Ceramic teapot in soft green glaze, with a low and generously rounded shape. Its relief decoration evokes lotus leaves, a motif repeated on the body and lid. The bud-shaped handle beautifully extends this botanical decor. The scalloped edge, highlighted by a fine brown trim, adds depth to the whole. Large movable bamboo handle and slightly speckled green glaze featuring a fine network of cracks characteristic of this type of ceramic. No marks or stamps. Probably from the 1970s-1980s. In beautiful vintage condition, with some light signs of wear on the bamboo handle (see photos). Length including spout 20 cm, widest diameter 15 cm, height without lid 8 cm, height with lid 10 cm. Estimated capacity approximately 75 cl. A vibrant green, a sculptural silhouette: a teapot made to be displayed.
