Large persian carpet veramin in the tehran region of iran. Fully hand-knotted carpet in quality lamb's wool velvet on cotton foundations. Royal blue field with "mina khani" decoration: seedlings of flower petals stylized geometrically in circles encrusted with floral bulbs surrounded by ivory florets - seven borders including the main salmon with birds and seedlings of flowering palmettes in the shape of stylized diamonds. Very good condition. 325 X 215 cm. Density of about 8000 knots at dm2.
