Suspension Semi by Claus Bonderup & Torsten Thorup, Denmark, 1960s

Vintage Danish suspension lamp Semi, designed by architects Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup in the late 1960s. Becoming a true icon of Scandinavian design, the Semi is distinguished by its very pure silhouette: two quarter circles placed back to back create this characteristic conical shape, both light and sculptural. The model is documented as early as 1967–1968. This version, with a diameter of 47 cm, features a very soft turquoise green finish, contrasting with the white interior that effectively reflects light downwards. Made of lacquered aluminium, it provides pleasant direct light while maintaining a strong graphic presence when turned off. In good vintage condition with some slight signs of use corresponding to its age.
