Set of three Plia folding chairs, an iconic model designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli in Italy in the 1970s. Awarded for its innovative design, the Plia combines a tubular chrome steel frame with a smoked amber polycarbonate seat and backrest. Its ingenious folding mechanism allows for very compact storage while providing excellent stability when unfolded. Very good vintage condition. The chrome frame shows slight signs of use consistent with its age. The polycarbonate is in good condition, with a natural amber patina and a few scratches, with no visible cracks or breaks. H 73 cm / D 43 cm / W 41 cm.
