This watercolor is from the eighteenth period, we are probably here on the second part of the eighteenth, transition louis xv-louis XVI. The work is pleasing to the eye, it represents the portrait of louis ferdinand of france after maurice quentin de la tour. Maurice-quentin de la tour (5 september 1704 – 17 february 1788) was a french pastellist portrait painter. Louis of france, dauphin of viennois, born on september 4, 1729 at the palace of versailles and died on december 20, 1765 at the castle of fontainebleau, was the eldest son of king louis XV of france and navarre, and his wife marie leszczynska. There is no signature, however this portrait is of good quality. Note a label on the back where was indicated the name of the artist, but it is unfortunately illegible. The frame is posterior, twentieth, the rear too. There is a protective tile. This watercolor remains presentable, it is necessary to accept the defects due to age. You will notice friction, traces, wear, especially on the frame. For the state thank you to detail the photos. Photos are an integral part of the description. Size: Frame. Height: 79.5 cm. Width: 67 cm. Oil. Height: 60 cm. Width: 47.5 cm. M365.
