"The 'Repose' armchair is a sculptural creation that pays tribute to the timeless elegance of the traditional director's chair and the refinement of luxury safari furniture from the 20th century. This armchair perfectly balances the robustness of a machined steel rod structure — featuring a matte black lacquer finish with a rubber effect — with the nobility of high-quality Spanish leather. Technical precision defines its character: from hand-turned brass screws securing the leather to the frame, to the vegetable tanning of the hides (3.5 mm thick). Thanks to the use of natural tannins, oils, and fats, the leather develops a unique suppleness and texture, allowing it to acquire a striking patina over time. Each armchair is an exceptional handcrafted piece, made with double frames for impeccable finishing. Technical details and customisation: The structure is made of matte black steel. The client can choose from five colours of premium leather: black, navy blue, dark brown, cognac, or natural tobacco. Although the standard stitching is in off-white, it is possible to customise the thread colour as well as the tone of the sanded and hand-painted edges.
