Hatd carved wooden fertility doll

Hand carved tribal ashanti wooden fertility doll. These dolls originated in ghana and were given to women who wished to become pregnant. It may have been made in another part of africa, as the tradition of these dolls spread over time. A lovely decoration piece or wedding gift. In very good condition, no splits or cracks in the wood.
